Testimony and Talent Night

Hello Awana Parents!

We had a wonderful "Testimony and Talent Night" in Awana on December 4th! So many of the kids had such exciting talents to share with the group and the testimonies were very inspiring.

Below, you will see a few pictures and videos from our special day. We hope you enjoy them!

Christmas Break/Testimony and Talent Night

Dear Awana Parents,

We had a wonderful Sunday last week during our “Grandparents Night!” It was so good to see so many grandparents walking around the education building with their grand-kids. At the bottom of this post, I have copied several pictures for you to enjoy from the night.

I wanted to remind everyone that this Sunday will be our last Sunday in Awana for several weeks. Awana will be canceled for the remaining Sundays in December as well as the first Sunday in January because of conflicts with Walk Through Bethlehem as well as the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. We will look forward to seeing everyone back on January 8^th for Double Dollar Night, where clubbers will receive double for every point they are awarded! Those extra points will be come in handy the following Sunday, January 15^th, during our Awana store.

For our Sparkies and TnT classes, we will be having a special Testimony and Talent Night this Sunday during Council Time. If your child signed up to share a talent, we would ask that they come to Awana prepared with whatever props they need in order to perform that talent (instruments, craft supplies, sports equipment, etc.) Clubbers who come prepared will be the first to be given opportunity to share during the night.

Based on the number of children that have signed up to be involved, we may not have time this Sunday for every student to share their testimony or talent.  However, we have planned another Testimony and Talent Night for April 1^st. If any clubbers who were signed up to share this Sunday are not able to do so, they will be given the first opportunities in April.

Helping Hands Night

Dear Awana Parents,

Thank you so much to each of you whose families participated in our “Helping Hands Night” last Sunday. We had a tremendous response from our parents and clubbers in every class. We were able to complete nearly nine full 1-1-1 baskets for families who will be in need of help with purchasing food for the holidays. It was such a blessing to see how God worked through the children and families of our Awana Ministry to pour out love towards others!

Below, I have copied a few pictures for you of our clubbers with some of the food items that they brought in. Enjoy! We look forward to seeing everyone again this Sunday night when we will focus on the Brockell family- our missionaries to the Dominican Republic. Can’t wait to see the kids all dressed up in their traditional Dominican dress!
